Lions Quest – Social & Emotional Learning (SEL)
At N.G. Vartak English Medium High School & Junior College, Virar (East), we successfully launched the Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Programme under the Lions Quest project. This transformative initiative nurtured empathy, resilience, and leadership among 1,850 students, setting the foundation for well-rounded and compassionate future leaders.

🚠 Empowering Youth – Field Visits
On 29th & 30th July 2025, students of Padmashree Bhausaheb Vartak College, Virar (East) explored two engaging learning experiences:
- Funicular Ropeway at Jivdani Temple – Students enjoyed a thrilling ride while also learning about the engineering marvel of cable traction systems. The blend of fun and knowledge made the visit truly memorable.
- Sewage Treatment Plant Visit – Guided by Ln Atul Vartak, students gained first-hand knowledge of sustainable water management and environmental conservation, fostering awareness about eco-friendly practices.
These visits highlighted how practical learning goes hand in hand with classroom education, sparking curiosity and responsibility among the youth.
🌸 Know Your Gynaecologist – Women’s Health Awareness
On 25th July 2025, a special session titled “Know Your Gynaecologist” was conducted in collaboration with Padmashree Bhausaheb Vartak College. Renowned Gynaecologist Dr. Sneha Sachin Naiknaware guided young female students on women’s health and hygiene, empowering them with vital knowledge for their well-being.
